Problems creating connection to MS Access

1014610Jun 12 2013 — edited Jun 13 2013

Hi, I hope someone can help me.

I want to create a new connection in SQL Developer to a Microsoft Access database. However, when I attempt to do this I see the following error:

"Status: Failure - Test Failed: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified".

I thought that there was a JDBC/ODBC bridge that installs with SQL developer that handled this? Any help or advice would be appreciated, details below:

SQL Developer version 3.0.04

Windows 7 64-bit

Thanks, Harry

Answer

Do you have the access ODBC driver installed?

Just checked and that driver is missing, I'll get that installed. Thanks for the suggestion.
