Conditional select list without Redirect on Page Action

Hello,
I have a problem when I want to create a condition between two items. For example if I select Yes on first item, it should appear the second item text aria...otherwise for No on first item, the second item should remain hidden.
I tried with condition on second item, but I had to select "Redirect and Set Value" on "Page Action when Value Changed" on first item...which refreshes entire page and clears all previous items.
Can you please help me with an workaround for this issue?
Thanks!

You have two page items
P1_ITEM1
P1_ITEM2
Create a dynamic action
onchange of P1_ITEM1
Equals 'Y'
Show P1_ITEM2
When creating also check the options to create false actions and trigger on page load
Remove any redirects on P1_ITEM1

Thank you, it worked the same logic applies if you would like to use conditions for more than 3 items?
