difference between OSB and Mediator or ESB

Hi

I am very new to OSB and i am confusion about the below points.

1) what is the main difference between OSB and Mediator(11g ),ESB (10G)

2) when we go for OSB and Mediator

3) Is't possible to develop the proxy and business service in Jdeveloper other then eclipse or SB console. 

4) if it support in Jdeveloper all adapter will support for it like AQ,JMS,DB and etc.

Could any one please explain me about the above points.
