When accessing the addresses, in the Geolocation packaged application,  I am getting the following error message:

ORA-20001:  get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

Is this a bug in the packaged application??

I am using   apex.oracle.com     to test this packaged application......

Also not able to save an area of interest using a polygon

  1 error has occurred

  • Polygon for Area Of Interest must be drawn on the map. (Go to error)

    Hi,

In general this should work - I also tested the application on apex.oracle.com.

    First question:

from your description it seems that the packaged application install did not create all or some of the required tables correctly.

Can you verify (via SQL Workshop) that the tables EBA_SPATIAL_ADDRESSES, EBA_SPATIAL_IMAGES and EBA_SPATIAL_AOI exist ...?

If not, try to drop and reinstall the application. A reason might be that your workspace quota is already maxed out and that

there is just no space left for the required tables ...

The second question:  The steps are as follows:

    1) click the "blue" polygon icon on the map

    2) click the points of the polygon you want to draw

    3) click on "finish" on the lower corner of the map

    4) Specify a name for the "Area Of Interest"

    5) Click on "Save"

Of course, this also requires the tables to be present ...

    Hope this helps

    Best regards

    -Carsten

    Hello Carsten,

I checked the tables and they we're not present,..

So I deleted some other packaged applications, and reinstalled the Geolocation application,  now it runs fine!..  :-)

Thanks for your reply. (and for this nice demo/geolocation application!)
