Java ME microcontroller board

I’m looking for a small-form factor and  not expensive microcontroller (development) board that can be battery powered (not for a few hours but for a few years), has a wireless communication module “built-in” (e.g. socket for Xbee/ZigBee/WiFi, there is NO need for a FIXED ethernet connection) and runs Java ME. In fact a board comparable to the Arduino Fio but programmable in Java ME.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Many thanks.

Guy

    Hi Guy,

Currently there are no developer boards which conform the criteria you've listed. The are planned but not there yet. However you can check out commercial solutions. E.g. see Cinterion's EHS5 and EHS6 modules

    Regards,
