What happened to ADF Application Tables, Trees and Tree Tables?

Kristof_2014Jun 11 2014 — edited Jun 11 2014

I am trying to implement a tree and stumbled across an Oracle tutorial describing ADF Application Tables, Trees and Tree Tables.

Online at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E25054_01/fusionapps.1111/e15524/ui_impl_appfeat_ttt.htm  and in the PDF version: e15524-24.pdf, "Oracle Fusion Applications Developer's Guide 11gR1" (chapter 15)

It tells me to drag & drop a VO onto the JSF page and pick the category "Application". There is, however, no category "Application".

The manual is an 11g manual and I am using JDeveloper 12c.

My questions:

-Have these "Application" components been deprecated in 12c? (seems unlikely to me, as they seem extremely powerful components)

-Have they been given a new name in 12c?

-Do I need to install some addons to JDeveloper to get access to these components?

Thank you for any replies!

Kristof
