CMIS based integration of external data in APEX

JoergJun 29 2014 — edited Nov 7 2014

Hi!

I have a question regarding the possibility of integrating a document management system with APEX based on CMIs.

The aim is to use APEX as the Portal-Page and a DMS showing its results -  it may be a search result from a CMIS-query -  in an APEX-region on that page.

- see http://chemistry.apache.org/java/examples/example-process-query-results.html

May be it can be done via a REST based method?

But unfortunately I have no experience in this sector (REST, CMIS) - so any advice would be welcome!

For me APEX gives best functionalities for CRUD-based applications with powerful OracleDB and in combination with an additional DMS with search engine we can go very far with our intranet.

Best Regards

Joerg

Has really nobody ever tried to connect for instance to an Alfresco CMIS repository?

If it did, please please provide a tipp regarding user authentication (between APEX and Alfresco) and receiving the values.

Thank you in advance!
