how do you format java code in new forum to show the code with line code

    It's almost the same as with the "old" forum, accept that you now have to do one click more...

    The feature is hidden in The advanced editor" but wehen you click "Reply to original discussion" you don't get the link to it.

    So what you have to do is to click on the Posts header ("format java code" in this case) and  click "reply" there. Then you get the "Use advanced editor" link.

    easy an intuitive, isn't it?

    what if am editing the thread not replaying is the a page where all this is explain

    when I edit my post i end up in the advanced editor directly. Maybe the forum remembers the last editor type used...

    The old forum had sticky posts and the SQL forum had one of them that explained syntax highlighting. Another thing that has been "optimized" with the forum upgrade.

    Maybe the serch feature is working, try it...
