BI Publisher License for Oracle APEX

Hi All,
We are planning to use BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.2 to print PDF report in Oracle Application Express 4.2.
We have Standard Database license for Oracle 12c.
Now, will I have to pay Oracle for using BI Publisher.
If BI Publisher have to be Licensed means Will you suggest me any other mode to make PDF work in Oracle APEX.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Soofi

Yes, you will have to pay a lot.

This is a very frequently asked question that has probably been asked and answered thousands of times on this forum. Third party reporting solutions such as Apache FOP, PL/PDF, Jasper, BIRT and the ludicrously named PL_JRXML2PDF are often used in conjunction with APEX.
Using custom report templates, standard APEX reports can generate any HTML structure required. A page can combine multiple report regions to produce layouts like invoices etc. CSS media style sheets can be used to provide some control over printed output without the expense or complexity of integrating a separate reporting solution.

Hi Soofi,
If you plan to use Oracle BI Publisher for PDF printing with Oracle Application Express, you will need to purchase a license for Oracle BI Publisher. Alternatively you can use Oracle Rest Data Services for PDF printing with APEX. You can find more details here:
PDF Printing in Application Express 3.1 and above
