   Sun engineering team put out Cool Stack - on a best effort basis - to help our customers leverage open source products such as PHP on Solaris 10 platform. This was not a supported offering by any means. Solaris engineering team has later adopted this work within Solaris 11. Now, PHP 5.x and Apache 2.x are now a supported offering within Solaris 11. So, you should consider using Solaris 11.
