Hello,
I have an Oracle Database 11g Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64bit, installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. Can I use ODBC from a windows 2012 std r2 server to connect? Is this possible? If not, are there any alternatives? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You can connect to a Oracle DB 11.1.0.7.0 64 bit hosted on Windows Server 2008 R2 using Oracle ODBC driver hosted on Windows 2012 R2 server, if the Oracle Client/ODBC driver is 11.2.0.4.0 or higher.
thanks and regards
Venkat
