How can I tell if client result cache is working?

I've recently been having a discussion on the thread about client results cache and I've been directed to ask the question on this thread.

Using client result cache with ODP still shows as execution on AWR, is the cache working?

I know I've got the client results cache switched on (hint in query, parameter set, database restarted), and the explain plan shows that the results are being served from cache, but I still see the queries showing as executed in the EM graphs and AWR reports. I wouldn't expect that if the query never left the application server?

So, how can I tell if a query sent from my application was a hit on the client results cache, or the result cache on the server?
