Matrix Diagrammer Crash

Please,

When I launch matrix diagrammer (awm61.exe) and I try to get a Business Function x Entities diagram, the application crash with an exception c0000005.(CCWcIcon + operator as mentioned in the crash dump)

I have tried to monitor and it seems that this exe file is a Win16 program.

Any clue to resolve this issue relative to 64 bits systems (this functionnality works fine under Winodws XP)?

Of course Designer 6i is not supported anymore, so any other OS than what it was designed for is risky. My work PC is still on XP 32 bit, one of the reasons being Designer 6i.

You don't mention your OS, but you may still get it to work on W7 32 bit (in another company I use Designer 6i on W2008 server 32 bit, but never used the diagrammer).

I think there was a misunderstanding.

I'm using the last version of designer 10GR2, even that, I have this issue

Haha, the 61 usually refers to Designer 6i, but Designer 10g has the same file names for a lot of files.

Anyway, Designer 10g is also not supported on 64 bit. A lot of functionality will work, but not everything. You can try some options found on this forum:

- Install in XP compatibility mode

- Install as administrator

Look at note 1292919.1 for further information and required patches.

It doesnt work, Matrix Diagrammer is a 16 bit application, it won't work unless Oracle release a 32 bit version or better 64 bit.

No patch in metalink? I haven't access to it
