I want to connect php with oracle . What tools do i use

This is not really true.  Oracle 11g client libraries can connect to various DB versions, including 12c and 10gR2.

best ways is using OCI

$myconnection = oci_connect('uid', 'pwd', 'orcl');

or u can also use odbc connection

if your httpd is on windows its best to use odbc

if its on linux use OCI
