Hi,
I require to downgrade my java runtime version form 7 to 6. When I try to install version 6 I get an error message saying a newer version is installed. I have been on the phone to Apple who don't support this, also I have researched and enter in to Terminal the following Sudo command from this page to uninstall the current Java version (https://www.java.com/en/download/help/mac_uninstall_java.xml) - still nothing, the same error when trying to install.
I have also tried this, again a link from the java.com website (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202643), and also this 'Uninstalling JDK' at bottom of the page (JDK 7 Mac Install). No versions othing in Java folder.
Any and all HELP appreciated.
Many thanks
