JavaFX streaming HLS form Wowza

3188967Mar 2 2016 — edited Mar 2 2016

Hello,

we're a customer for Wowza streaming engine and successfully use it to stream VOD content to set top boxes, Android and iOS clients, using HLS protocol; However, now we try to develop a PC desktop app using Java and JavaFX framework, using a buil-in media player. However, the JavaFx streaming player, our one but also the one provided in Oracle's Ensemble sample gets stucked after playing some time, about 50 - 60 seconds and it's not possible to restart it. Could you please help us to troubleshoot and debug this issue?

We use Windows 10, Java JDK 1.8.0_66 and Java FX 2.2.79.

I can offer you an URL to our asset to try to stream it from our server.

I am looking forward to your reply.

Patch Set Updates are cumulative.
That said, we don't know what your security scan is doing and how it is making its determinations.

Hi

you submitted your question on January 27th, so at the time of your writing January 2021 CPU is already released....so its better to apply this quarter patches that will include all previous patches (that are missing).
to check the current patch level in 12cR2 (based on your snapshot image you are using 12cR2 release):
select * from dba_registry_sqlpatch;

Regards,
Emad

Answer

Hi,
there are many resources online....for example:
Patching Oracle Database 18.1.0 to 18.2.0 on premises (0 Bytes)Patching Oracle 18c database in Windows (0 Bytes)
Another thing, when you download the patches from Oracle portal there is HTML file associated with the patch "read me" file that describes also the steps in sequence.

I hope this helps
