I was wondering whether oracle JET provides support for using ECMAScript 6 language featured modules?

JET doesn't ship with Babel or anything other kind of ES6 transpiler. If you would like to use one, you can add it to your project. JET itself, uses AMD modules today, and not ES6 modules.
