Hi,

If I am only using the the BDB JE library for use in server side code for my web site and I'm not redistributing or modifying the library in any way, do I still have to make all the source code to my web site available to those who visit it?

    Hello,

We recommend that you consult your legal expert in order to determine whether your usage complies with the terms of the AGPLv3 license.

I'm not trying to evade your question, but keep in mind that

    a) I'm not a lawyer and

    b) I don't know the details of your application and how it will be used, as well as you do.  Also, how the application is used might change in the future.

Having said that, I'd love to understand more details about how you intend to use Berkeley DB JE.  You can contact me at ashok dot joshi at oracle dot com.

    Thanks and warm regards.

    ashok
