Developer Studio IDE remote client on Mac isn't working

I am trying to use Developer Studio IDE remote client  for first time.

I am able to connect to remote Solaris server successfully on Linux desktop.

However, I can't get it to work on Mac desktop. When I add remote Solaris server

in the setup wizard, it does attempt to connect but hangs there forever.  snoop

on the Solaris server shows that a connection was indeed attempted by Mac client

but the tcp connection was reset immediately without exchanging any data

( packets with zero length payloads). Mac is on VPN, Linux desktop was

directly  connected to the network.

Did I miss something? Any pointers are very much appreciated.

Thanks,

prakash
