Create a grid

Hello,

I want to create a grid like in this example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKIi_UN1zvI&feature=youtu.be

I want to do this with javaFX, has anyone ever done sth like this before or has any ideas? Thanks for you help!

Sounds like a fun project. 
I've never used JFX for this type of thing exactly, yet, but from what I've seen I'd say JavaFX is the perfect (quite possibly the best) platform for such a requirement.

I'd start with looking at Canvas, if you can't find anything else you're able to use "in the wild".

This one might be easily tailored to do what you need:

I'll try using Canvas!

And what do you mean with "in the wild"

Haha- by " in the wild" I just meant something freely available/open source out on the Internet somewhere.
