can I install multiple instances of MYSQL for version 5.7 onwards in single Linux server. if then how.

I have installed MySQl using RPM file on SUSE linux, Now I want to create another Instance on the same server.

Is it possible to us the steps in detail to install  same version of My SQL in LINUX SUSE? The document you have refered is different version of My sql.

Like:

1) Do we need to create to different my sql installation and two different cnf

Yes, it's possible. You'll needed different cnf files. For example:

shell> mysqld_safe --defaults-file=/usr/local/mysql/my.cnfshell> mysqld_safe --defaults-file=/usr/local/mysql/my.cnf2

and also, different conf, port, sock, etc.
