Download Oracle JDK 8u111

My machine is a Solaris 11.3 system.  I need to update JDK.  I know I need the 32 bit version of the JDK and then install the 64 bit version after it.  The only versions I see are the 64 bit version (sparc9) and then an x64 version.  Is x64 version 32 bit?  If not where do I find the 32 bit version for Solaris 11.3?

    My understanding is that there is no Java 8 32-bit JDK for Solaris

    When I try to copy jdk 8 u 111 to another directory I get a handful of errors of files it can't copy as they are links and the targets don't exist.  Is this normal?  What am I missing?  I'm missing the following:

    cp: cannot access jre/lib/sparc/libjvm.so

    cp: cannot access jre/lib/sparc/libjdgaSUNWafb.so

    cp: cannot access jre/lib/sparc/server/libjsig.so

    cp: cannot access jre/lib/sparc/client/libjsig.so

    cp: cannot access jre/bin/ControlPanel

    cp: cannot access jre/javaws/javaws

    Sounds like a permissions problem.  Look at the user/group that owns those permissions and also look to see if symbolic links are involved.

    They are all symbolic links.  The target they link to don't exist (at least not where they say they do)

    An example:

    [email protected]:/usr/jdk/instances/jdk1.8.0# ls -al jre/lib/sparc/libjvm.so

    lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root          16 Sep 11  2015 jre/lib/sparc/libjvm.so -> client/libjvm.so

    ls -al client/libjvm.so

    client/libjvm.so: No such file or directory
