Where is alert log in 12c

Hi ALL,
12c & 11g
Windows Server
I understand location of alert log is the same for 11g & 12c.
In Linux, I usually show it in parameter dump, then I get the location
But in Windows, I can not find the alertSID.log.

According to your screenshot, you could check under C:\oracle\VIS\12.1.0\admin\VIS_ebs\diag\rdbms\vis\vis\trace\ .

If you don't know then you really ought to start with the docs, https://docs.oracle.com/database/121/NTQRF/monitor.htm#NTQRF259

unwilling or incapable to use Windows Find File utility yourself?

So it is not true that 11g and 12c alert log location is the same?

When you are dealing with EBS, things are not often set to the "default" path.

Thanks John,
Are you now shifting to Apps DBA track

Are you now shifting to Apps DBA track
What difference does that make? I have EBS experience in the past. I'm not doing that now

Yes - it IS true.
You find the alert log the same way in 12c as you did in 11g and prior versions.
1. you READ the the documentation about the alert log
2. you follow the instructions the doc gives you for locating the log based on your configuration/installation.
No change in procedure at all.
