version of netbeans ide to use

Hi,
using php 5.4.45 and oracle 11.2.0.3 on windows 64 bit 8.1 pc, oracle 11 client with iis web server to familarise myself with it.
currently using notepad++ for editing but thought if could use a wysiwig for creating html/php woudl be quikcer.
looking at the oracle php underground manual mentions netbeasn 7.2
Can see on the downloads page.
However, couple of questions - should I use the x64 (64 bit version as) have 64-bit pc running iss+php on as know php a 32-bit application.
Also when go to the downloads archive part can see 7.2 but when come select jumps back to the current download version 8.2 I believe.
Thanks

I would use the latest version, which I think is either 8.2 or 8.3.

8.2. Netbeans is pretty configurable.

Thanks for reply.
Guess doesn't give any issue fact using slightly older version of oracle 11.2 rather than recent 12c and this would be most up-to-date netbeans.

Thanks for update.

One question have though is we need to run java 1.7.0.40 for another third party application as opposed to java 1.8
Looks like 8.2 not compatible with java 1.7
mentions
- The PHP and C/C++ NetBeans bundles only require the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8 to be installed and run.
Does the 7 in netbeans mean that only works with java 7 an dthe 8 means only works with jre 8?

Looking at release notes for 8.1 looks like netbeans will work with jre7?
Looks like The PHP and C/C++ NetBeans bundles only require the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 7 or 8 to be installed and run. JDK 7 or 8 is required if you are planning to use any of the Java feature
