I am unable to download the Oracle client for version 12c.  I get the following error and an empty file.

C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp\verKLtW2.zip.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.

I am on page Oracle Database 12c Release 2 for Windows Downloads clicking on the link for either

Oracle Database 12c Release 2 Client (12.2.0.1.0) for Microsoft Windows (x64)

or

Oracle Database 12c Release 2 Client (12.2.0.1.0) for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)

.  When I try to call the 1800 number my call is dropped.

Are you downloading in FireFox?  This seems to be an error that may be browser specific from a quick search so you may want to try an alternate browser as a test.

In the meantime, we've purged the cache on these files in case there is a problem with a regional download server.

I tried both Firefox and IE11.  They both have the same problem.  IE11 has an error of "win32_12201_client.zip couldn't be downloaded".  I just tried both again and had the same problem.  I asked around here at work and found out about the new edelivery.oracle.com.  That worked for me.  So I am back to working again.

    Thanks

    Hi ..

You can check the following things.

    1. Windows account permission.

2 Browser setting and access level.

    3. Also try with Google Chrome at first place and again with Google chrome after removing history, cookies and site data.

This may be only connectivity/Access issue from your source to destination(Oracle Site).
