Connecting to Exadata Express with Python

Hello,

Now that the Exadata Express service has been upgraded to the latest version of APEX, I thought I would give it a try. I was able to create a service instance, and can connect to it using SQL Developer. However, I'd also like to connect to it via python scripts. I followed the steps int he documentation (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/database-technologies/scripting-languages/cloud-3080568.html), but am getting an error: cx_Oracle.DatabaseError: ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact.

I'm curious, has anyone else connected to an Exadata Express Cloud Service with python, and any chance you also had to work through a similar error?

Thanks,
