JUnit and NetBeans

The installation of Java JDK and Netbeans did not prompt to install JUnit. I have downloaded JUnit. Just would like to confirm JUnit is not installed by default with either Java or Netbeans and is a standalone package?

Thanks for the URL. It still requires the JUnit plugin to be installed. But is not the correct version for NB 8.2 and complains about components being an older version.
To follow this tutorial, you need the following software and resources.
Software or Resource Version Required NetBeans IDE 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.0 Java Development Kit (JDK) version 7 or 8 JUnitSampleSol Project download To perform the steps in this tutorial you need to install the JUnit plugin from the Update Center. You can install the JUnit plugin in the Plugins manager if you did not install the plugin when you installed the IDE.

All that was required was to activate JUnit Libraries in the Installed tab for plugins.
