ASCII char issue

Hi,
I have descriptions coming in ASCII char as shown below
陶瓷质子
Need to convert this into respective lang char , here it should be in chinese. Please let know what is the character encoding we can use to convert it to chinese.

If its a standalone class, you can ready the data from the source in byte with respective charset (in your case it is ASCII), and to show it in respective language you can convert it into UTF-8, and display it.

Thanks. I am able to convert unicode char to chinese characters with UTF-8, but these are ampersand encoded characters (for real china chars) , how this can be converted it to real china characters.
