how to sign a jar file using windows Certificates Store

Walter-TLS Member Posts: 1

Hello everyone !

I'm new here and I apologize if this thread is misplaced (It's kinda messy the first time to find where to search ! :-)

Anyway here is my problem :

We would like to sign a Jar file using a certificate which is located in the Windows Certificates Store (User or Root)

Is it possible to do this (sign with jarsigner.exe) WITHOUT having it imported directly to java ?

I've read somewhere over internet that it was possible to do this with JDK6 but apparently it doesn't work anymore with JDK8

Our environment is :

Windows 7 Enterprise Edition x64

Thank you in advance for any clue or information and I apologize if my English is not that good (I'm French ;-) )
