Shell Script Execution and Oracle JDeveloper Studio Edition 12.2.1.3.0?

Hello Everyone.

I have a quick and easy question.

I have written a Shell Script and I want to build an application to execute these scripts, is there a way to call Linux/Unix Shell Bash scripts from within an application built using Oracle JDeveloper 12c (12.2.1.3.0)?

I want to create an Java app Gui type Application, and tie my Shell script to a button.

Is there a way to do this and if so can you point me in a "tutorial" right direction Please.

You can run shell scripts in java. Look at https://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/lang/ProcessBuilder.html

If your app is a web application, the script runs on the server!
