i want to use  sqlcl such that i dont have to use an oracle id ... i mean i want to use it like mysql

    If you mean you want to use sqlcl to migrate a mysql db, then you will need to use SQL Developer, where you can include the mysql plug-in and do the migration using SQL Developer.

    https://oracle-base.com/articles/mysql/mysql-connections-in-sql-developer  explains what you need to do. (as do many other websites).

    ...so you'll be able to run queries etc with SQL Developer. Remember though that sql developer using mysql db was designed for migration, not as a client IDE for mysql.
