Why no "datapatch" for patching databases under docker

3498001Aug 23 2018 — edited Aug 27 2018

Hi everybody,

I'm trying some stuff with the provided dockerfiles from here https://github.com/oracle/docker-images  to create docker images for Oracle Database Standard Edition 2.

What I'm wondering is: I'm able to install Oracle patches and so on into the database home. But why there is no script for doing the "datapatch" step so that the patches will be installed / implemented into my CBD and PDB on that image?

Thanks and regards,

David
