Using TFS as source control and deployment for PLSQL

Hi,

The customer I am working with is using TFS to manage code and deployment.

How can TFS deploy PLSQL or DDML/DML to Oracle DB 11g/12c?

Is there any practice or add-on?

Thanks,

Noam

TFS 2013+ allows for GIT protocol.  I'd start there.

However, i get an error.  my rudimentary research on the error suggests that it may be due to  a "protocol version conflict".  SQL*DEVELOPER may need its GIT library updated.  i would need WireShark to investigate.

Also  I have not verified if our TFS has GIT enabled. (Different dept).

Personally, SQLDeveloper needs the capability of connecting to Azure Cloud...especially with DevOps.

(And take advantage of  the 19.x LiquiBase feature for automated  deployments).

How do you mean, azure support?

You should be able to connect to your database there already.

I would like SQL*Developer to connect to Azure DevOps Repos for Code Repository usage.  I'm assuming this can currently be done with SQL*Developer by using the Git protocol.  I haven't tried.

As far as 19.x and liquibase,  I'm imagining that Azure DevOps could potentially take advantage of LiquiBase for creating the ALTER TABLE statements for moving Oracle Database changes from Dev to Test to QA to Prod.  I don't know if this is possible, or SQL*Developer is the wrong tool to integrate with Azure DevOps, or I'm totally off regarding "how things work".
