Does MySQL Enterprise Edition have any java dependency? If there is how to know what JDK version it

Hi

We use MySQL Enterprise Edition for our MySQL databases. My company wants to know if MySQL is using any JAVA JDK or is dependent on any Java JDK. Does MySQL have any java dependency? if there is, how can I find out what JDK version is dependent on?

Thanks

Here is the answer that I received from Oracle.

"MySQL server does not have any Java dependencies. The only MySQL product with a Java dependency is Connector/J, which is the JDBC connect for MySQL, and then java is explicitly assumed"
