JRE 32 bits and Java 12

KalaneSep 15 2019 — edited Dec 19 2019

Hi,

I removed all of my old versions of Java and installed the last one on my PC (jdk-12.0.2_windows-x64_bin.exe). This is OK for NetBeans, Visual Studio and Firefox.

But I have OpenOffice 4.1.6 and it also needs Java: it needs a 32 bit JRE.

Now, I can't find the JRE version 12 on the Oracle site. I just found the version 8.

What can I do? Do I need to download the version 8?

Hi, Kalane

Oracle Java 8 was the last version planned to have 32bit support.  Download JDK or JRE 8 if you need 32bit.  Similar is true of OpenJDK
