ROracle for R-3.4.4?

Hi,
I am looking for an R-database connector ROracle-* for use with R-3.4.4 (Oracle-Linux comes equipped with it). On the OTN download site I find connectors for almost any R-version but not for R-3.4. Can I get it somewhere else? Or is some other version usable?
Yours, user8632123.

While we do provide ROracle binaries for certain R https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/roracle-downloads.htmlversions on Oracle's Technology Network (currently R-3.3.0, R-3.5 and R-3.6), we did not build under R-3.4.4. However, you can download the ROracle source and install using these instructions.
If you have questions about the installation, feel free to post them in this thread.

Hi Sherry,
Your instructions link goes to a 404 page. Is there an updated link?
Thanks,
