Is there any error at the installer logs?
Are you running the installer as administrator?
-
I am running the installer as an admin yes Right Click > Run as Admin. I'll locate the logs and share with you.

I was able to locate some log-files however they do not belong to Oracle 11G, they belong to Oracle 12 which also have some fail errors in it. Could it be that they can't be installed side by side?

Are you on 64 bit OS? Because 11g XE should run on both OS, the installer is complaining about.
You can have only one XE on one host, but if you have another 12c on this machine, it shouldn't influence the installation.
Have you tried to do a silent installation? Do you get logs then?

You have to delete all your previous oracle files in your file explorer and services.msc first before you reinstall.
Simply repeating the steps in the link you refer and type "sc delete <filename>" in your command prompt (remember to run your command prompt as administrator.) if you wish to delete the files in the services.msc
Hope this helps.

Hi @User_YA5Z4 ,
What is your OS?
Have you tried what is written above?
For example, run it as Admin user, etc.
