Can anyone find any documentation from Oracle to create custom reports in Oracle Reporting and Analytics?

There are many ways to create custom reports like you can create custom reports in PL/SQL dynamic content. Please share your requirements.

Normally the reports I found were xml with DTD reports but dynamic content report would be much easier to make as it needs no tooling.
How would I go about adding a pl/sql dynamic content report to Oracle MICROS Restaurant Reporting and Analytics ?

I am looking to make a custom report that shows each Tender by Day for a week or month. We used to have Peachworks and I could create custom reports so easy and fast.

I had something like this:

Day Cash CreditCards(total) GiftCards HouseAccount PaidOuts Total
