Interactive grid: popup LOV with bind variable

When I have a LOV (shared component) with a page item bind variable, it doesn't work in a Popup LOV for an interactive grid column.

It works for a select list, but for the popup LOV it always shows no results.  For testing I replaced the bind variable with a static value and then it shows results.

Is there a workaround for this?

This is on APEX 19.2.

Me too on Apex 20.2. I couldn't get a workaround. When I use the select list the list is blank, when I use poup lov the list is filled, but the parameter is ignored.

Do you have a workaround?

Workaround, create an extra column in the report based on the value of the bind variable and use the column as a bind variable in the LOV.
