Sample applets missing from Java Card Development Kit download?

When following the instruction doc on how to get the Java Card development kit up and running, it mentions sample applets in a directory 'samples' - this directory appears to be missing from my download, I have tried uninstalling, re downloading but they appear to still be missing. Does anybody have the sample problem, or does anyone have the samples?

The Java Card Development Kit is made of 2 components that can be downloaded separately:
- Java Card Development Kit Tools: a zip file containing tools used to convert and verify binary files for Java Card 3.0.4, 3.0.5 or 3.1.0 platforms
- Java Card Development Kit Simulator: a msi file to install the Java Card 3.1.0 simulator and eclipse plugin that can be used to develop and debug applications on this simulator. The samples are included in this bundle.
Please make sure you downloaded the simulator bundle. The samples can be found in <installation-path>/Java Card Development Kit Simulator 3.1.0/samples
