Handle strongly typed exceptions when using Entity Framework Core and Oracle
Hello,
I want to introduce my library https://github.com/Giorgi/EntityFramework.Exceptions which allows you to handle strongly typed exceptions (UniqueConstraintException
, CannotInsertNullException
, MaxLengthExceededException
, etc) instead of handling DbUpdateException
and digging in the nested InnerException
to find the OracleException
and the error number that was returned from the database. With the latest release it now supports Oracle as well so you are welcome to use it in your projects.
Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to share
