ODP.NET Core support for LDAP on RHEL

in ODP.NET
We are trying to use ODP.NET Core with LDAP on Linux with Microsoft .Net Core. It was found in previous blogs that ODP.NET Core 19.3 with LDAP support is available on Windows only. However, with the release of Microsoft .Net Core v5.0 with cross-platform support, so does anyone know if this would still require changes within ODP.NET Core to enable support for LDAP on Linux?

ODP.NET Core uses System.DirectoryServices.Protocols for .NET Core LDAP. I don't believe Microsoft has ported System.DirectoryServices.Protocols to run on Linux. If I take a look at its dependencies on NuGet Gallery, I see that it requires System.Security.Principal.Windows, which is a Windows only assembly
