No big impact, as the database will detected the crashed/killed shared server process, and start a replacement server process.

Why did the shared server die?

Two basic reasons. An internal error (like an ORA-600) occurred and the process terminated. The o/s process was killed by someone or something.

Fatal ORA-600 and the like Oracle errors, are recorded in the database instance's alert log. These errors are typically due to Oracle bugs. An unexpected exception occurred in Oracle server code, resulting in the server process being aborted.

On MOS (My Oracle Support) you can use support note "ORA-600/ORA-7445/ORA-700 Error Look-up Tool (Doc ID 153788.1)" for troubleshooting these errors.

In the case of no logged errors seemingly causing the shared server process to die, then it is likely that a 3rd party is killing these processes - for whatever reason. Which means looking at just what is running on the server with privs that allows it to kill shared server processes, isolating the culprit, and identifying the root cause.
