SET NEWPAGE 0 in SQLcL not working ?

I'm using SQLcL Release 19.4. I have a script that I'm trying to format for printing, and would like a form feed between pages.

Using: set newpage 0

in the script does not result in a page break (and form feed) character (^L) after each page in the output when I run the script in SQLcL, but it does when I run the script in SQL*Plus.

set newpage is in the supported list of commands for SQLcL:

SET NEWP[AGE] {1 | n | NONE}

is 0 not supported the same way it is for SQL*Plus?
