Forms & Reports 12c Builder Windows Server Install ?

We have had the Oracle Forms and Reports (OFR) Builder tools installed in a Win 7 VM that runs via VMPlayer on our local developer machines. This is not going to be an option soon. Forms and Reports are deployed and run in environments on Linux VMs.

Our plan is to install Weblogic and OFR Builders on a Windows Server for all (5) developers to VPN onto. This VM would be for development only.

Does this seem like a feasible plan?

Thank you.

I feel like there is something detail missing from your question. Are you asking if it is "feasible" to install WLS and F/R on Windows? If so, then "yes".

You can find out exactly which Windows versions were certified by reviewing the Product Certification matrix for FMW. For server platforms (e.g. Windows Server), refer to the "System" worksheet. For desktop platforms like Windows 10, refer to the "Client" worksheet.

Note that for development machines, you will need "Internet Developer Suite" licenses for each user. For details related to licensing, contact Oracle Sales or your Account representative if you have one.
