How to add multiline title in EL expression of dvt:statusMeterGauge?

Hi All,
Oracle JDeveloper 12.2.1.4.
I want to insert a date in the DVT status meter gauge at the place shown in the image below:
The only possibility I could think of in this component is to do it via the title tag. Can we set a multiline title using EL expression? I tried using the following title but it didn't work.
title="#{bindings.TrendTypeName.inputValue} \n #{bindings.TrendTypeTimeStamp.inputValue}"
Any idea how to achieve this functionality?
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
Bilal

The final output on the browser is HTML. Have you tried to use '<br>' instead of the '\n'?

Thanks Timo for the reply.
The application compiles and deploys fine but it stops showing the page as soon as I used the <br> tag. The code editor displays lots of errors with <br> inside the value string.
I also tried using \ as escape identifier but didn't work.

And when I tried to use the following:
The errors go away but the newline is not working on the page. Check the output below, please:
It simply prints out the <br> as string.

I'm not sure that there is an escape property for this component. Using this (like in an af:outputText) will make it work.
If there isn't an escape property for this component, you can try to use css (in the titlestyle property) to break long lines.

Do you think that CSS can be adjusted to break the title where the date starts rather than breaking long lines?

No, you can change the data you want to add to include some spaces to make the dying break at the right position.
