Install ORDS in OCI

Hi all,

we are working with the OCI and we have the following setup:

As part of our setup we have to setup custom managed ORDS setup against the ADB (https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-rest-data-services/21.1/aelig/installing-and-configuring-customer-managed-ords-autonomous-database.html)

As per documentation we have to do the following:

  • If your customer managed environment for Oracle REST Data Services runs in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, then use an Oracle YUM repository and perform a YUM install of ORDS.

I was not able to find any further instructions, best that I could find is this blog:

As suggested in this blog I have executed the following:

sudo yum-config-manager --enable ol8_oci_included

sudo yum install -y ords

As a result I get back this error:

Last metadata expiration check: 18:07:52 ago on Tue 24 Aug 2021 01:15:19 PM GMT.

No match for argument: ords

Error: Unable to find a match: ords

As far as I can see the setup of the repository should be OK:

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you in advance,

Aljaž
