How to get Parameter value from library in oracle forms ?

Hi All,

Anybody know how to get parameter value from library in oracle forms ?

so i have sample.fmb and it has 1 parameter(parm_rep_id)

and i have 1 library lib_smpl.pll. From this library, how do i get parameter.parm_rep_id value when i open sample.fmb from menu?

    Code in a PLSQL library should be as generic as possible. You should avoid directly referencing form's objects. In other words, in the library you should not try to directly reference :PARAMETER.parm_rep_id which comes from the form. Instead you should get the param value while still in the form's code then pass that value into the library proc you are calling.
