Oracle Apex - LOV Multiple Fields Select in single Query

SANPAT Member Posts: 1,085 Silver Badge

Dear Friends

Want to select multiple fields (LOV) and store in the form & table . For example

select empid,name,adddress from employee ;

if user selects the empid automatically other fields get display on form and and store in database as it was happening in Oracle 12c Forms .

Can you please suggest how it can be done.

    maybe a dynamic action that fires on change to the first column in lov, that will select the other values into page items from table employee?

    Thank you,

    That is standard APEX functionality, but it depends on your version of APEX.

    A shared component LOV can have "Additional Display Columns" (additional to the standard display and return value). You can map these extra values to items on your page. The LOV item has property "Additional Outputs" for that purpose. Look in the online help how to use that.
