Hello,
I am experiencing a strange issue with sqlcl 21.3. where my password is visible in clear text. I am not sure if this is a sqlcl, java or terminal issue. Anybody experiencing the same issue?

Thanks

Here is a comparison with version 21.1

Getting the same issue when I try to install SQLcl using @krisrice
brew install sqlcl
Also, the ENTER key does not work after I type in my password, so I need to kill the terminal.
Is nobody else experiencing this?

I just wanted to follow-up on this thread.
Originally I downloaded the jdk-17.0.1 Arm 64 version which has this bug. I tried to download the x64 verision and it seems to work, password is now not showing. So it looks like there is a issue with using the Arm version of jdk.
I hope this helps other people.

That makes sense. Supported and recommended Jre for Sqlcl @ https://www.oracle.com/tools/sqlcl/sqlcl-relnotes-213.html#sec1
